Allett Atco Kensington 20B Petrol Cylinder Mower, Not Webb, Qualcast, Suffolk

  

I'm not really sure where to start with this lawnmower. The pictures speak for themselves, I can't say if this mower has ever been used or not.

I've listed the item as new other, as i genuinely think it's not been used. I've added several pictures of the cassette components, you can see clearly this has not cut any grass. As the lawnmower is a 2021 model and it it doesn't look like it's been used.

I thought it best to strip everything down, and double check everything was in good working order. I can report apart from a couple of storage marks on the machine it's in fantastic condition.

From the Allett range of cylinder lawn mowers, the kensington 20B combines multiple unique features to provide unrivalled cutting performance and give your lawn perfect stripes. This four-stroke petrol-engined cylinder mower is recommended for keen home gardeners with large lawns. The Allett Kensington is self-propelled and powered by a 127cc XR550 Briggs + Stratton petrol engine with recoil start. The lawn mower is equipped with a six-bladed precision cutting cylinder with a 20 inch width of cut, with a fully adjustable cutting height via a stepless micro-adjust knob between 6mm and 32mm to allow users to cut the grass to suit conditions and the desired finish. Perfect stripes are achieved thanks to a combination of the steel rear roller with rolled edges and the wooden front roller.

The large front-fitting grassbox has a 80 litre capacity and provides efficient debris collection and easy emptying. Convenient folding handles allow for easy transportation and compact storage. Equipped with the innovative QC system, the blade cassette can be replaced with an optional scarifying cassette (not included) to convert your mower into a powered rake. A 10 blade cutting cartridge (not included) for finer, more frequent cutting is also available as an optional accessory. The ability to remove the blade cassette also assists in the easy and economic maintenance of the lawn mower. Tank capacity :- 2 litres. Height Of Cut :- 6mm- 32 mm.

The Kensington 20Bis controlled by a three-way drive facility which allows the blades to be disengaged without stopping the engine, convenient for emptying the grassbox and for powered manoeuvres around the garden. Also, when mowing in awkward corners or around trees, you can disengage the drive for manual control.

Also available is the 10 multi-bladed Quick CartridgeT cassette to ensure an even finer cut. Other interchangeable carridges include: Lawn brush, Aerator, Dethatcher and Verticutter (not included).

If you're not technically minded this mower may not be the machine for you. These machines are not the kind of machines you whip out the shed after winter then cut the grass and throw it back in the shed for a week or two. These machines need to be looked after, kept clean, and require a certain level of periodic servicing.
