I have cut my own grass with this mower and can testify that it easily coped with long grass - engine is powerful and smooth running. I have listed it as an SP550 as these mowers are fitted with Briggs & Stratton engines - the mower engine came from a mower I took the drive off, whilst the chassis was originally fitted with a dreadful GGP electric start engine. NOTE: this is a used power tool and as such will have signs of previous use including cracked plasics, scuffs and scratches, security markings etc.
